The Institute of Marine Sciences organizes a conference “From the Coast to the Ocean”

The Sixth International Conference, organized by the National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries, headed by Dr. Suzan Khalifa, under the title “From the Coast to the Ocean: Priorities and Investments”, with the participation of a number of international and local experts, at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

The conference aims to shed light on the latest innovative methods and mechanisms in facing the problems and challenges facing the coastal and marine environment from the coast line to the ocean, and to develop a mechanism to meet the needs of the growing population and economic growth, and to preserve the health and safety of the marine and coastal environment, as well as to discuss the analysis of the risks of the aquatic environment. And ways to confront them in order to lay the foundations for future strategies that clarify the relationship between the challenges facing water and economic pressures in order to reach effective and integrated solutions.
